Another hidden gem, thanks to my friend for introducing to your culture and the yummy dishes you picked out. Everything was flavorful, I love how i can taste the sweetness & spiciness together. Amazing combination. The service was great and the manager was very helpful. The place was very hot but luckily they have fans located around the restaurant so it helped me cooled down a little but it was still warm. lol. I would definitely come back to enjoy the other delicious dishes.

The food is wonderful, it was rightly flavored and was freshly made to order. Both husband & wife run this place wonderfully, take time to talk to you. share their recommendation and it was wonderful to talk to. We had ordered thalis, chat, sabzi, and chapati, it was an authentic spread. They were able to customize the food based on our preference and it was yummy. Highly recommended!

Went back again! Shared a Raj Kachori Chaat and Saag Paneer Thali and it was more than enough food for two people. Flavorful and delicious, each and every bite. The owners are friendly and sweet, one helping out the customers and the other cooking up a storm in the kitchen. I also appreciate how affordable the food is. Please support your local mom-and-pop businesses and check them out.

I exercised my pregnant wife privilege last week and announced that I was craving chaat and I needed it immediately. Luckily, we found this place close-by and my husband did not lose his life that day. Rating Breakdown: 2/2 Stars for Taste -- First, I must confess we are not chaat experts. In fact, I had to Google and cross-reference with their menu to order. With the owner's help, we ended up ordering the combo chaat since he knew I wanted to try some of everything. This came with samosa, tikki, and khasta kachori chaat -- definitely satisfied my fierce cravings. We ended up getting the okra saute thali to round out the meal. The okra was surprisingly delicious. It had, for the lack of knowledge of the Indian equivalent, wok hei. The subtle smoky flavor combined with the perfect amount of seasoning -- unexpected winner of the night. The owner was also kind enough to hook us up with the lotus stem curry as part of the thali. My husband loved this tangy curry, it was a close second to the okra. 1/1 Stars for Value -- It was about $16 for the thali and $12 for the combo chaat. I had originally ordered the thali with two chaats and the owner gently told me it was "too much food". After finishing our meal, I have to agree it was a good call. My husband and I were stuffed! 1/1 Stars for Customer Service -- I am a huge sucker for mom and pop shops. This corner restaurant is run by a husband and wife duo. She does the cooking while he helps in the kitchen and also takes the orders. The owner was super helpful with the recommendations, he would stop and chat with each table to see how everyone was doing. It really felt like you were sitting down to a family meal. Bonus star because I will definitely be back to try the jackfruit curry and the other chaat.

Reasonable prices and quantity is awesome for the price. Taste wise - looks like everything is made in house, fresh ingredients so tasted quite good. I liked the hospitality in the restaurant as well. Raj Kachori was the best I had in Bay Area. One thing they can improve on - speed of the service but I guess they are new so they are still adjusting. Overall, will come again for Raj Kachori and other chaat items!

Great food, very very good service. Don't judge a book by its cover or a restaurant by just its ambience. Shri Ram Chatpatta Corner is like going to your food lover friend's place who loves cooking and would love for you to try the new thing they're making today. We've been there multiple times now & loved every single thing we tried. We Just ask - what are you making today and sometimes get stuff that's not in the menu yet. Ram Laddoo ..... slurrp !! Combo Chaat (samosa, kachori, tikki together)- Must try Thali is always good ! They also make really delicious rustic stuff like Bajra or jowar roti rustic style saag paneer, Kadhi, jackfruit, Kamal kakdi - stuff you don't normally get in Indian restaurants in Bay Area. The owners are simple health conscious and well traveled couple and they make things fresh, with organic veggies and avoid cheap oils and unhealthy recipes. So they may occasionally take longer to make n serve. They're also kid friendly & my kids enjoy going there for chaats and aloo paratha

We came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Parking was easy as it's in a complex. Right as we entered the restaurant we could feel the home cooked vibes. The owner took our order and as the food was ready, it came to our table. The food was on point! You could tell they use high quality ingredients in everything they make. They also can customize the spice level - we asked for mild on everything and it was perfect for us. The owner continued to check in on us and you could tell he wanted to make sure we enjoyed each and every dish (which we did!). My favorite was the aloo tikki chaat, fried potato patties covered in a variety of spiced sauces and toppings. I could have had a whole plate of that for myself :) Also the makki di roti and sarson ka saag was a very close second. We thoroughly enjoyed each dish and felt like we were eating authentic, home cooked food. Also loved that the wife was cooking while the husband was taking orders, etc. Lovely vibes and delicious authentic food - we can't wait to be back!

An impromptu plan to eat chaat made me and my friend Google this place in Newark Fremont. The ambience is good, there were seats available when we reached. The owner was nice and gave us a sampler of chaat tikki and it was delicious. Each ingredient releases it's taste as you eat. Then we ordered paani puri which was spicy and tangy, and then we ordered kachori chaat which was good and spicy too. The service is great and we also ordered aloo paratha to go. Definitely recommend this place as they have opened one in Mount Shasta and soon planning in Tracy, CA too. So try it out.

Stopped by here on a rainy evening for hot parathas & chaat. The place is run by an elderly couple who instantly make you feel like you are at their house for a meal :) Generous and warm customer service which I'll remember for a long time along with the yummy paratha & freshly made kachori chaat. Heads up - the food is made fresh to order and right in-front of your eyes so could take a while to get to your table. Patience, and you'll be rewarded

The flavors are out of this world!!! But, here's the caveat, if you want to go here be prepared to wait. I wanted to try the Raj Kachori here and the wait from ordering it to getting it to my table was a full hour. Having said that I'll be coming back again and again because I haven't had such flavors in a while. Husband had the Jackfruit curry Thali and it came with three mind blowing sides, a huge roti and rice which was enough for two. I thought the Raj kachori would be too little for me so I also ordered a tikki (potato) burger. Big mistake because between the huge thali I shared with my husband, and the tikki burger, I couldn't fully attack the massive Raj Kachori portion. Yeah I know I've said the word Raj Kachori a few times now. So you should absolutely try it here, but don't forget it takes an hour. It's a family run enterprise and so service is also very casual. Honestly though, with taste like this I'd say they are getting the main thing right. All Indian food lovers should give this place a try. Just bring your patience.
